Welcome to Sallie Jones!
Hello! I'm Shakira Thomas and I'm excited to serve as your School Counselor. I am eager to provide students, families, educators and community members with information and resources to help students successfully transition through elementary.
I have worked as an educator for 15 years. My professional career includes 7 years as a Classroom Teacher and 8 years as a School Counselor. I earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of South Florida. Additional, I earned a M.A. in Counseling from Webster University.
I look forward to providing resources to improve student academic, behavioral and social emotional growth and development.
