I grew up in Toms River, NJ with a loving family consisting of my mom, dad, and two brothers. I pursued my life long dream of becoming a teacher fifteen years ago. I am certified in Elementary Education and am also endorsed in ESOL and Reading. Prior to being a 5^th grade teacher at Sallie Jones Elementary, I taught 2^nd and 3^rd grade at SJE, as well as a 3^rd grade teacher at Myakka River Elementary for 10 years. I was awarded Charlotte County's District Teacher of the Year in 2018 and a finalist in 2022. I am married to a wonderful man that we were lucky enough to blend our families with; my son, Luciano, who is an active eleven year old that keeps me busy and is a 5th grader at SJE, my 16 year old bonus daughter, Olivia, who puts up with Luciano's antics, and Red, our 4 year old Golden Doodle.

My mission as a teacher is to help my students realize that through learning, they can enhance their life in a positive way. I want to help all of my students believe in themselves and through that belief, take on the challenges of life and push themselves forward.
