    Upcoming Events:

Word of the Month
  • April: Empathy

This month we are learning all about EMPATHY.

Ways to teach Empathy at home:

    - When reading or watching T.V. with your child ask how they think the character might be feeling if they were to put themselves in their shoes.

    - Empathize with your child “I image you felt frustrated when …”

-Suggest how they can hos empathy, “Let’s get grandma some flowers to cheer her up.”

Please talk with your students at home about the different ways they can show empathy at school.

    School Based Activity:

    - Student Reader Leaders will be reading the story- The Invisible Boy throughout the month.
