    My name is Disa Westby. I am excited to be working with your child this year. I want to create a comfortable, loving and safe environment where students will want to enjoy learning. I believe this will help a child develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and feel successful.

   I was born in Charlotte county and have lived here all my life. I attended Sallie Jones, Punta Gorda Middle School and Charlotte High. I graduated from Gulf Coast University with a degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching at the elementary level in 2003. I am married to Eric and have three daughters, Elly, Emmy and Evie. I enjoy spending my free time biking, camping, canoeing, hiking, music, and water activities with my family and friends.
