   Welcome to kindergarten!  My name is Ms. Amy Couch.  I am originally from Pennsylvania but I have lived here in Charlotte County since 1989.  I enjoy dancing, drawing, going shopping with my kids and of course…TEACHING!!! 

   I live in Punta Gorda with my two children Brooke and Drew.  My daughter is currently a junior at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  My son is attending the Charlotte Technical College.  I received my Bachelor’s degree from Hodges University with a focus on Education.  I also have my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NOVA Southeastern University.  I have been teaching with the Sallie Jones family since 2007.  Along with kindergarten, I have taught second, fourth, and fifth grade.  I also have many years of teaching experience in early childhood education.  I am excited to meet you for this school year!
