Mission Statement: My mission is to inspire students to become lifelong learners and leaders.  Cooperative activities help enhance learning and teamwork skills needed for success.  Through these doors, high expectations and encouragement will ignite excellence.  

Teaching Career: I began my professional career at Charlotte High School teaching a behavior unit, where I taught every subject to students in 9-12th grade.  I also taught Algebra in Lee County at Cypress Lake High School, until my twins were born.  I spent years volunteering right here at Sallie Jones Elementary and began teaching full time again 2017-2018 school year.   

Education: I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  Both Gifted and ESOL endorsements have been added to my teaching certificate.  

Family: I am blessed with three amazing children.  Tyler graduated from Charlotte High School in 2020 and plans on joining the Air Force.  He is currently working at Culver's.  Angelina graduated from Charlotte High School in 2020 and is attending Florida SouthWestern State College.  She is excited to be working at Starbucks.  Nathan is a sophomore at Charlotte High School.  He enjoys outdoor activities and cooking.
