My personal mission statement is to educate minds, develop healthy bodies, and promote positive attitudes towards lifetime physical activity, fitness, and sports skills. Each student will be empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to make responsible lifestyle choices that directly impact his/her health and well-being.
Biography
I was born and raised in Punta Gorda, FL. I graduated from Charlotte High School. Graduated from Florida State University with a Degree in Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration. I began my teaching career in 1988 in Tallahassee, FL. I have taught all grade levels in my 30 years of teaching. I have been teaching Elementary Physical Education for the last 18 years. I have 1 son named Jordan who is 24 years old and plays professional Baseball in the minor leagues for the Seattle Mariners.
