After several years working as a paralegal/legal analyst in the electric and gas utility industry, where I was responsible for developing and implementing corporate policies and acting as liaison between the company and local government, I redirected my skills toward teaching. I have taught course in research and writing, as well as public speaking, to adults at both community and business colleges in New York State's Capital Region. That teaching path led me to Southwest Florida where I continue to lead our young adult population toward initiating and achieving goals in the realm of effective communications.
From 2014 to 2023, I had the great pleasure of teaching various English classes to high school students in Manatee County. A life change and move to Charlotte County has made it possible for me to join the faculty of Lemon Bay High School.
I am looking forward to sharing a classroom with the students of Lemon Bay.
