Mrs. Edwards grew up in Sterling Heights, Michigan. She moved to Venice, Florida in 1997 and graduated from Venice High School in 1998.  After High School, she attended the University of South Florida. Mrs. Edwards majored in Elementary Education and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree.  She has been teaching in Southwest Florida since 2006.  Since starting her career she has earned multiple certifications and endorsements including Reading K-12, Exceptional Student Education, Gifted Student Education, and ESOL.
