Welcome to my website and welcome back to school!
A little bit about myself: Although I am not a Florida native, I have lived in the Venice/Englewood area for the past 40 years. My husband is a retired Lieutenant from the Englewood Area Fire District and I have two sons who both went through Charlotte County schools. They are United States veterans. I attended the University of South Florida and received a B.A. and M.A. in Communication and an additional M.A. in Education. I have been teaching in Charlotte County for the last 23 years, spending 16 years at Vineland Elementary in 5th grade and the last seven years here at L.A. Ainger teaching 6th grade and 8th grade Language Arts.
I am looking forward to a great year! This will be an engaging, informative, and exciting class! f you have any questions, concerns, or problems, please contact me . If you need to know assignments missed, please have your child use Canvas and contact me via email if they are going to be absent for a time.
