Welcome to 8th grade United States History and Career Planning. My name is Mary Murphy and this is my 17th year at L.A. Ainger Middle School and it looks to be a great one! Our goal for the year is to learn to read and think as historians, to look at documents through a historian’s eye. We will strive to understand the historical development of the U.S. by examining connections to the past and to prepare for the future as participating members of a democratic society.
