Hello, I’m Madeline Kirsten; I was born in Colorado, but have lived in Florida for most of my life. After graduating from Venice High School, I earned my associate’s degree from Manatee Community College, (now SCF), then joined the United States Air Force, where I met my husband, who was in the Marine Corps. After being a Spanish Linguist in The Air Force, I was able to use my G.I. Bill to finish my bachelor’s degree at USF. My bachelor’s degree is in Professional and Technical writing, and my master’s degree, from Saint Leo University, is in Educational Leadership with a specialization in reading. I love teaching middle school and am honored to be a part of our students’ educational endeavors, especially during these formative years.
