Mr. Whitaker
Hello, I’m Dave Whitaker a new teacher here at Charlotte High School. My family and I are also new to Florida. My wife Stephanie and I have four children, two have graduated from college and two are currently attending Universities. We are from Lake Orion, Michigan, about an hour north of Detroit where I taught high school for 27 years. I was very active in coaching baseball and football along with other extra-curricular activities.
After a year of retirement here in beautiful Florida, I decided to again pursue my passion for teaching. I’m extremely excited to be part of the team here at Charlotte High and I’m especially looking forward to working with my students.
