Welcome!  I'm so glad you're a part of the Law program here at CHS (or that you're checking us out!).  I am in my tenth year at CHS.  I taught TV Production for nine years, and now I am making the change to teach the Law classes.  Prior to working at CHS I spent five years at Punta Gorda Middle teaching English, Yearbook, Speech and Debate, and Creative Writing.  I also spent a year at Lemon Bay teaching English.  Before that I was in full time ministry, serving as the Director of Student Ministries, Worship Leader, and Media Specialist for a large church.

I attended Law School at Stetson University College of Law when I worked at Punta Gorda Middle School (I was a part time student, commuting from Punta Gorda to St. Pete three nights a week).  After graduating, I accepted the job at CHS days before I took the bar exam.  About a month into my first year at CHS I found out that I passed the bar.  I was sworn in as an attorney in the state of Florida, but I'm still here teaching because I love it.  I do keep my law license active, but I do not currently practice.

I love this job and this school and feel fortunate to choose to come and work with these students every single day!
