Miss Taylor Thompson
Hello everyone!
My name is Taylor Thompson and I teach Creative Photography as well as 2D Studio Art 1. This will be my first year teaching, and let me just say.. I am SO excited! I grew up in northwestern Indiana, then moved to Florida in 2011 and have been here since. I graduated from Charlotte High School in 2016 and then went off to Florida Gulf Coast University where I got my BA in Visual Arts and double-minored in Entrepreneurship and Interdisciplinary Studies. Since then, I have started a photography business where I primarily photograph weddings and other events. Now that I am back at Charlotte High, I am so thrilled to be able to teach the next generation what I have learned in different artistic fields and help you all grow as creators!
A few fun facts about me:
- My fave Starbucks drink is a hot mocha with oatmilk!
- I LOVE to travel & drive to my destinations - hoping to purchase an RV or trailer one day.
- I have 3 younger siblings (all CHS grads) - I love them dearly!
