Pre K-5th Grade Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Teacher

This is my 14th year teaching in Charlotte County schools. My 11th year at East Elementary. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade. For 9 years, I was a 5th grade teacher. Last year I taught 5th Grade TAG. I am excited about the opportunity to use my science knowledge to help students of all ages discover all that science has to offer.  I live in North Port with my husband (who also teaches at East) and our 2 sons. I enjoy spending time with my family, swimming, reading, and playing video games. I am looking forward to having an awesome school year. I can't wait to see the faces of my students light up as they make discoveries and find out all the amazing things my students can do!
