Happy New Year East Eagles. Some exciting events taking place these next few weeks. Fitness testing will continue at the end of January. Be ready 5th graders for your mile run. Always wear sneakers, you never know what day it may be. Envelopes will be going home the week of January 25. This is for our annual event that benefits the American Heart Asscociation. Students will be jumping rope and completing many other stations while learning ways to keep their heart healthy. They will be partcipating in this event the week of February 10-17 during PE class. All donations are due by February 25. Our school wide goal is $2,000. We can do it Eagles. Download the Kids Heart Challenge App for fun games and information.

Rules and Procedures
Please follow these rules to keep yourself and others safe.
1. Wear sneakers everyday.
2. Listen and follow directions.
3. Keep your hands and feet to yourself unless instructed to use them in a game.
4. No name calling, teasing or fighting. Be a good sport when you win or lose a game.
5. Use equipment correctly and clean it up when finished playing.
6. Have fun!
