Teachers Out of Field

    Florida Statute 231.095 requires the school to notify a parent if their child is being taught by an out-of-field teacher.
    An instructor is classified as out-of-field when he/she has been given a teaching assignment not included on their current certificate. For the teacher to continue in the same assignment in future years, he/she must successfully earn appropriate college credit within a specific number of years.
