I teach 8th grade English, Language Arts.  I'm originally from Indiana, and I graduated from Manchester University with a BA in English and my certification for Secondary Education.  I taught two years of 10th and 11th grade English at Wawasee High School in Syracuse, Indiana, and one year of grades 6-12 ELA at Paddock View Alternative School in Marion, Indiana, before moving to Florida.  I have taught at Port Charlotte Middle School since 2017, and have since earned my ESOL and Reading endorsements. 

I am dedicated to my students.  I understand that this year will come with challenges that we have not encountered before as well as normal ones, so my door is always open.  I respond quicker to emails or Remind messages, but you may also call me.  If we are to go virtual, I will also add a Google Voice number that you can use to contact me.
