PCHS Model UN Academic Team wins First Place Best Small Delegation
The PCHS Model United Nations Academic Team won a First Place Best Small Delegation Award at the prestigious University Of Virginia conference, competing against some of the other top MUN programs in the country.
Eight of the twelve PCHS delegates competing received top committee awards. Seniors Carson McNamara and Lauren Collins, junior Jonah Katz and freshman Alanna Belevitch all received second place Outstanding Delegate Awards.
Junior Brennen Fender and freshman Kajsa Carlsen each won third place Honorable Mention Awards, while senior Anna Belevitch won a fourth place Verbal Recognition for her performance.
Next up for the Pirates is the University of Florida conference in January.
